With our APDatec series, you are choosing a truly versatile product. The hoses in this series have four essential properties that provide efficient support for your woodworking applications. As you are working in a highly flammable environment in the wood industry, flame resistance is a must for our hoses. For this reason, our APDatec® series only includes flame-retardant products in accordance with DIN 4102 B1. The combination of air and wood dust or wood particles can form an explosive mixture. We easily prevent electrostatic charges with the permanent antistatic properties of our hoses.
In addition, the majority of our hoses are made of polyether polyurethane, which is microbe-resistant and thus ensures that the product does not become brittle. Microbes occur wherever substances such as soil, grass and wood are present and can attack normal hoses, causing the material to decompose. Another feature of our hoses is their hydrolysis resistance. This prevents irreversible degradation of the material due to moisture.
