Our extensive range of garden hoses uses different types of fabric. For example, a cross-woven fabric is used in our Plexus Classic hose. With a thread angle of 54°, it counteracts twisting and offers good flexibility.
The tricot fabric, which is not knitted spirally around the hose, does not have an anti-twist effect. However, the fabric is significantly more flexible than the cross-weave fabric used in the Plexus Classic. We also use tricot fabric with an additional spiral thread to achieve an anti-torsion effect despite the non-spiral arrangement.
In some tubes, such as the Plexus AT, we also use spiral-shaped tricot fabric. Thanks to the special knitting process, this has an anti-torsion effect and significantly higher flexibility than cross-linked fabric.
Garden hoses can be frustrating when they twist and twist again and again. But our Plexus AT offers the solution to this problem in the mid-range PVC water hose category. The high-quality garden hose is equipped with an anti-torsion (AT) fabric insert that actively prevents the hose from twisting. This means that watering your garden is no longer a challenge!
The Plexus AT is characterised by high-quality materials and innovative design. It is made of non-foamed solid PVC and pollutant-free ingredients to comply with EU directives. A black intermediate layer protects against UV radiation and prevents algae formation. At its core is a tear-resistant polyester yarn fabric insert that ensures stability.
With four genuine layers, the Plexus AT guarantees high durability and flexibility. This means you can rely on a reliable water supply without the usual problems. With our unique production process and our focus on quality and stability, we guarantee that the Plexus AT will be your reliable partner for watering your garden.
